Classic Everest trek is designed to include the major highlightes places of Everest region to allow you to have maximum opportunity to enjoy the stunning Himalayan panorama, pristine lakes, high adventure passes, and beautiful heritage sites and of course the most admired place Everest base camp. When we propose you a classic Everest trekking trip, some travelers might understand it as Jiri to Everest base camp, but we want to make it clear to you that it is not this route, but this is the trekking trail where you explore the Everest base camp and Gokyo Lakes, summit Gokyo Ri, cross Cho La Pass on classic way. This trek also known as Everest circuit trek of Khumbu region.  The trek will start same as other treks in Everest area, 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and we follow the same route as we follow Everest base camp (Phakding (2610m) to Namche Bazaar (3500m) and other days, Tengboche (3850m), Dingbuche (4350m), Lobuche (4950m), Ghorakshep (5140m) and finally Kalapatthar (5545m)). In between these days we will acclimatize at Namche Bazaar and Dingboche for 2 days to reduce acute mountain sickness.  After exploring the Everest Base Camp, next day, in early morning i.e. dawn, we will cross the Cho La pass (we need to cross Cho La pass in the morning as soon as possible because in the afternoon there might be problems of rock sliding or rock falling down). On that day we will stay at Thangnak (4700m) and other days continually visit Gokyo Lake (4790m), Gokyo Ri (5360m), Dole (4200m) and very known Namche Bazaar.  From Namche, our hiking will be for couple of days to get Kathmandu and conclude the trip.

This is a hiking adventures also known as Everest circuit trek because the trail makes a circuit from Namche Bazaar to Namche Bazaar after completing the high adventure journey.  We will cross Khumbu and Imja Khola valleys and various Sherpa villages in the trail so we ensure you that the trip will be not only adventurous walking holiday but also cultural journey toward the Sherpa villages. Thus, Classic Everest trekking is one of the best trips for 20 days to explore entire Everest region.

Useful Information

Consideration on Classic Everest trekking

The proposed itinerary for this trek  is just an outline guide and standard model of package basis given here provided by Himalayan Mentor (P) Ltd. The entire trip package can be customized according to your specific requirements and services standard as you wish to have for your holiday. Generally in fact an adventure trip package of this type sometime affected by unforeseen circumstances like bad weather forecast, flight delay and multitude of other factors which are beyond our control can result in a change of original itinerary.

However, Everest classic trek is very rare case that the original itinerary would be considerably altered, so if alterations are needed the trip leader or guide (person in charge) will make a decision what is the best alternative, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group. Where as if a change does arise, we do everything as we can reduce its effect, but we cannot be liable for the results of changes or delays affected your original schedule.
